DATABASE OF CONTEMPORARY ARCHITECTURE OF ANDALUSIA

The database of contemporary architecture is an application that includes information about the Andalusian 20th century contemporary architecture heritage. It is made of works taken from the Registro Andaluz de Arquitectura Contemporánea (Andalusian registry of contemporary architecture), set up at the end of 2005 and recently finished, and the project of Documentación de la Arquitectura del Movimiento Moderno (documentation on Modern movement of architecture: MoMo Andalucía), carried out in 1996.

It offers a wide reference system with updated real time information, and allows to make general and specific queries about the contemporary architectonic heritage of Andalusia. In order to be both a specialized research tool and a promoter of the knowledge of contemporary architecture among citizens, over one thousand of registers -comprising architecture, town planning, landscaping, and civil works fields- have been gathered ranging from the eclecticism and regionalism from the beginning of the 20th century to the most recent architecture production of Andalusia.
